Foam pigs, also known as pipeline pigs or poly pigs, are lightweight pipeline cleaning devices designed to travel through pipelines to perform various maintenance tasks such as removing debris, product separation, dewatering, or drying. Made from open-cell polyurethane foam, they are available in different densities (light, medium, and heavy-duty) and can be coated with crisscross wire mesh, urethane, or silicon carbide grit for more abrasive cleaning. They are ideal for use in pipelines where more rigid pigs can't be used, including small-diameter lines, complex bends, valves, or reducers. Foam pigs are cost-effective, reusable, and can adapt to the internal shape of pipelines without causing damage, making them highly suitable for routine pipeline maintenance and cleaning.
